Zocor (simvastatin) Lawsuit - Do I Qualify?

How do I know if I qualify for a Zocor lawsuit?

Unfortunately, not everyone that wishes to file a lawsuit against the makers of Zocor will qualify. When qualifying a lawsuit for Zocor, some of the criteria the attorneys look for are if you or a family are presently taking or have taken Zocor 80mg, simvastating 80mg or Vytorin 10/80 mg. Once a prescription history has been established legal experts will want to know if you have ever been diagnosed with a serious muscle injury (myopathy), kidney failure or rhabdomyolysis. It is best if you have the medical records to show you were prescribed to Zocor or a similar simvastatin. If you have taken a cholesterol-lowering drug and experienced muscular pain and aren't sure if you qualify or not, it is best to inquire and is typically cost free to do so

  1. I was taking simvastatin for my cholesterol. I stoped taking it for the last 5 or 6 months. I was taken by rescue 3 or 4 times to the hospital with nausea, heart pain, shortness of breath, muscle pain all over. I could feel my heart slow down like I was dying. I was admitted and told I might need open heart. I said no and left the next day. I still have severe constipation, stomach pain, nausea, headaches, diarrhea, joint pain, and some memory loss muscles pains, weakness, and stiffness, spasms, tenderness, massive weight gain. I did not know taking this drug would cause all the side affects I have. I kept telling the Dr about all the symptoms I had and they would say I had to many complaints. Now I am left like this from a drug they knew could cause this. Thank You
